![]() ![]() But since I am using Pop!_OS I'd like to just use flatpaks if there is no sudo apt repo. I never had issues with chromedriver using the "old" sudo apt way and I also got it working using snapd. I also tried setting permissions differently with flatseal but I just can't get my head around it.Ĭould someone guide me how to set up chromedriver with selenium using chromium flatpak properly? I can't seem to find any tutorial doing it like this. I placed chromedriver in /usr/bin/ and referenced it in my python script via chrome_driver_path = r'/usr/bin/chromedriver' and tried adding the binary location also via options.binary_location = r'PATH' but this is where I am loosing it, since of how flatpaks seem to work: WHERE IS THE BINARY :-D I always get an error "The process started from chrome location is no longer running, so ChromeDriver is assuming that Chrome has crashed." Selenium combined with Headless Chrome is a great tool for creating automated UI tests for web applications. ![]() Help WebDriver find the downloaded ChromeDriver executable. Version of chromium is 89.x.x and so is chromedriver. Download the ChromeDriver binary for your platform under the downloads section of this site. I am trying to get chromedriver on selenium up and running using the flatpak without any luck. ![]()
